Last week Charlie Lee and Hawken Tate represented TYDE as members of the North Carolina Swimming’s Zone Team! Our Zone Team was represented by 51 athletes who competed in the 2026 Long Course Southern Zone Age Group Championships in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Aquatics & Fitness Center. Both Charlie and Hawken competed in a collective 10 individual events and 5 relays. They BOTH scored several points for NC Swimming helping our Zone Team to achieve our SEVENTH win!!! NC Swimming is one of the 11 LSC’s that make up the Southern Zone! Congratulations to all but especially Charlie and Hawken and of course team NC Swimming!!

Last week TYDE was represent led by four athletes at the 2026 USA Swimming TYR Futures Championships!! Izzy Gayzik, Ryan Galloway, Zach Hirata, and Colin Nicolay competed in a collective eight events in Greensboro, NC!! Last weekend TYDE traveled to Hickory for the YSST Seahorse Tidal Takedown! Our 9 swimmers raced to an overall placement of 3rd with boys coming in 4th and our girls coming in 3rd!! We saw a lot of fast swimming and many podium placements across all ages!! We’d like to shoutout TYDE’s top point scorers of Alice Buchanan, Bryson Holton, Clemmie Pace, and Noah Rivera!!

It’s been one week since our Orlando Team wrapped up the 2026 RAFC Last Splash Meet!! Our 17 swimmers finished 6th overall at the meet!
