Sports have shaped who I am—teaching courage, leadership, and the power of showing up every single day.
Coaching isn’t just about wins and losses; it’s about breaking barriers, proving that women belong in every role, and inspiring the next generation of women to chase what they love….without apologies.
I do this for the young girls who dream of making an impact, for the women who fought to make spaces for us, and for those still pushing forward. I do this for my niece, Winnie, who is just starting to understand what sports are, and for my sister, Holly, who leads the way as a coach in women’s flag football, soccer, and swimming. I do this for the incredible women I have coached.
I hope you all keep pushing boundaries and shattering expectations. I hope you continue to make men uncomfortable when they feel you are invading “men dominated fields”, your presence is vital and powerful. Be loud about your abilities, and let your passion inspire others. Remember, you are not just an athlete/coach; you are the past, present and future.
Most importantly, I do this for the young girl I once was—the one who dreamed of becoming a college coach and refuses to let that dream be anything less than a lifelong mission.
Here’s to the women who play, coach, lead, teach, produce and inspire. We are the future of women in sports.
We’re not just part of the game—we’re changing it. ❤️🏈⚽️🏐🏀
P.S. yes that is my mama who picks me up at the airport with a VIP sign.
…every…single…time😂
