*Post races update* We apologize. We've been dealing with some personal stuff and have forgotten to update. For those who don't know, we will be exclusively racing at Caraway this season. There are no plans to race BGS at all. We will likely come watch and hang out at the stadium when we aren't at Caraway, so we'll be around.
3/28-The car was not good, but better than the race before. Fought through and brought her home 8th.
4/11-Thanks to another mini stock driver and their crew guy who helped work on the car while we dealt with personal stuff, we felt like we were in decent shape. Twin 10-lap races proved interesting. We were finally finding a line and some speed. Race 1-Handicap starting order put us 3rd. Lap 1, turn 1, another car cut our nose spinning us in front of the field. Luckily, none of the other cars hit us and we were able to recover and finish 10th. Race 2-We happily started shotgun since we are still working out bugs. The car picked up a nasty carb sputter, so Matt just rode the back. Coming out of turn 2, the sputter suddenly cleared while full throttle, the car caught traction, and shot Matt like a bullet into the inside wall on the backstretch. Waited for the caution to get back right without crashing the field. No caution was thrown. We allowed the field to pass, turned the car around, and brought her in right on the trailer. Another 10th place finish and a tore up car. Once daylight came, we got a better look at the ol' Jezzie and it was pretty ugly. We are working hard to be ready for the May 2 race. See everyone soon.

We made the trip to Caraway yesterday. We had nothing but problems all day. 1st practice, leaking valve cover. Fixed it and cranked it to check for leaks...starter solenoid started smoking. Thanks to AJ, we were able to replace it only to find the starter acting up. Push started it for 2nd practice and only got a couple warm up laps before the round ended land we qualified dead last. Working on the starter issue, the car lost all power. Thank to Chuck for the coil! That wasn't the problem, but we know that now. Turned out to be a wiring issue that Chris P was able to work around. We still had to push it off for the race, but we are so thankful to run. It wouldn't have been possible without the help of Robbie White and T.j. Gibson who helped work on the car. The race was uneventful for us. We didn't light the track ablaze, but we ran every lap, brought it home without a scratch, and learned a lot about where we can find speed. There was some disputes with the finishing order, so we are unsure of the official results. But wherever we finished, we are happy with our run after overcoming all of the challenges. We have 2 weeks to work on her and we will be back, better than before.

We made sure to have a little fun despite all of the work!

Happy Halloween!

*Post race update* Last Saturday sucked! We lost a BGS legend, the great Robbie Brewer. Matt got to know Robbie many years ago while crewing for modifieds and sportsman teams. Robbie was a great guy and a hell of a wheelman! It was hard going out after that happened, but we knew he would want us to race. We finally took a green flag, but the car started smoking and filled the cabin, so we brought it down. Teresa went to check in with her sister and found her having a medical emergency. She is ok, thank God! With everything that has happened this season, we have decided to hang it up for this year and start working towards next year.
Thanks to all of our family, friends, and fans for all of their support and thanks to the fans who assisted our team member during her medical issue. Please support Squeaky Clean Xpress, LLC. Jordan has been a great friend and sponsor of MGR!

MGR had a pretty interesting race day Saturday! Got to Caraway to work track crew and Preston asked Matt to drive in the figure race. After a long day of working safety crew, removing air bags, and prepping the cars, Matt killed it in the figure 8, got 8 pins in bowling with cars, and ran the demo derby. Congrats to T.j. Gibson and Dean Levi on the figure 8 win!
Thanks to Phillip for the opportunity to work at Caraway, Preston for allowing Matt to run the exhibition races, TJ for running to the house to grab our helmet, and Sabrina and Dean for helping paint the car!

*Post race update* Saturday was HOT!! And of course, we found problems. We sweat all day long while problems dominoed. Drew p11 on the B race. A medical emergency in the stands red flagged warm up laps and the car died. We were not able to get it refired. Messed with it yesterday and got her running again. 2025 is just not our year.

We are so grateful for all those that helped us out. Thanks Phillip, April, Tristan, DJ, Junior, Brandon, Grease Bug, and all the other drivers and crew members who stopped to offer their help.

Please pray for all those who were affected by the heat. FCEMS were on the move all day Saturday and a few people went to the hospital.

We have decided to run a limited schedule for the rest of the BGS season. Matt has taken a job working track crew at Caraway and will race BGS in between.

This season has been a rough 1 for us. We have 1 great sponsor, but we are 99% out of pocket. We have no crew and are a black sheep in the division. Matt, Teresa, and the angels that ride with us are it. Absolutely NO offense to anyone, people make their own choices and we respect that, but we don't have AJ building our motors, Luke, Brandon, or Issac doing our set up. We do EVERYTHING 100% by ourselves. We hold no ill feelings towards anyone and have no beef with anyone. It's just matter of fact. We can't compete with deep pockets and years of knowledge. Plus getting screwed by the tower and management week after week is defeating. For all these reasons and more, we decided that taking a step back and making a little money is better for us. We wish all of our competitors luck and safety tonight.

We will see everyone next week.

*Post race update*
It turned out to be a pretty interesting weekend. We pulled in thinking draw in the back, stay on the back, but the lovely Ms. Judy drew us p1. We knew we had some fast cars and some real talent in the field, so the pressure was on. We put the best set up we could under her and started on the pole. A young fan, who was celebrating with AJ, saw Matt line up. I swear whole stadium could hear the smile on Matt's face and see the young fan's excitement!

The race was pretty uneventful for us. We didn't hold p1 long, but maintained top 5 for most of the race and didn't get a scratch. In our opinion, we finished 5th, but the 3 blind mice in the tower scored us 7th. We tried to protest the finish, but they refused the protest, as usual. There were disputes in other divisions as well. This will continue to be a problem until they start using the digital scoring they have available to them, but Gray Garrison refuses to use it. We are sick and tired of getting screwed over!

Sunday, we went to the fundraiser for Autumn and Emma in their fight with cancer. It was great to see so many people come together for such a great cause and I'm sure a lot of money was raised. Thanks to Chris Carter for organizing it!

Thanks to our sponsors! Please make sure to support them!
