Hey 👋🏼 , ya’ll, Suzie, the Founder of Synergy here.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to believe that love isn’t just a feeling it’s an everyday- moment to moment, really, sort of practice.
It’s how we show up for one another. It’s how we listen. It’s how we create space and become containers where people feel safe enough to be themselves. And it’s how we stand beside people when their rights, dignity, or humanity are being challenged.
That’s why Pride has always meant more to me than simply celebrating love. Pride is also about courage. It’s about protecting one another. Advocating for one another. Choosing community over complacency. It’s about the ongoing pursuit of justice, equality, and belonging for all people.
When Max and I opened Synergy, we dreamed of creating more than a fitness studio- the fitness was a given. We wanted to help build a community where people could come exactly as they are and know they would be welcomed, seen, heard, valued, and respected. A place where differences are celebrated, where kindness matters, and where we look out for one another.
I know we’re living in a time when it can feel ‘easier’ to stay quiet. But I also believe that community asks something of us. It asks us to care. It asks us to be brave. It asks us to extend love beyond words and into action.
To our LGBTQ+ members, staff, friends, neighbors, and family: we see you, we celebrate you, and we are grateful that you are part of this community. Today, and always!
We are a community built on love in action. And we will continue to fiercely and lovingly protect one another.

We’ll have a lemonade 🍋stand and bake🍪 sale hosted by some cute kiddos and all proceeds will go to North Star LGBTQ Center Youth 💟. Booking is live for class and spots are filling!
