What Sets Course of Fire Training Apart?
At Course of Fire, we’re not your average CCH or pistol instruction course. While many instructors stop at teaching students to shoot 30 rounds at 3, 5, and 7 yards at a static target, we go far beyond the basics.
Personalized. Practical. Proven.
With real-world experience and a focus on customized training, I provide instruction that’s tailored to each student’s needs and carry style. You’ll learn:
✅ How to safely and effectively draw from your carry position
✅ Movement and engagement beyond standing still
✅ Utilizing cover in realistic scenarios
✅ Confidence-building techniques for real-world readiness
Whether you're new to fi****ms or looking to refine your skills, Course of Fire equips you with the tools, mindset, and training to handle more than just paper targets.
This isn’t one-size-fits-all training. This is next-level preparation.

Having a proper grip when shooting a pistol is crucial for several reasons.

1. Accuracy: A proper grip helps you control the recoil of the pistol, allowing you to maintain accuracy and hit your target consistently.

2. Safety: A secure grip produces the chances of pistol slipping or being knocked out of your hand, minimizing the risk of accidents or injuries.

3. Control: A firm grip insurers that you can effectively manage the movement of the pistol during shooting, enabling you to stay on target and to follow through with your shots.
