Laurel City Historical Fencing A HEMA (historical European martial arts) class in Winsted, CT. Beginner and advanced weapons classes HEMA (Historic European Martial Arts) group in Winsted, CT.

Beginner German Longsword class Friday evenings at 6:30 PM. Intermediate Weapons Class Friday evenings at 7:45. $10 per class or $90 for a 10 Class Card. Students are encouraged to purchase their own safety equipment, particularly a 3 weapons rated fencing mask (with an additional back of the head protector), hand protection, a gambeson or padded fencing jacket. Please check with an instructor be

fore purchasing any training or safety gear to make sure the item is the right quality. In cooperation with the Exiles New England and Thames River Historical Fencing, we are founding members of the Connecticut Yeet Association (CYA).
