SJSC IS HOSTING A DEFENSIVE CARBINE CLASS ON 8/22/26 FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M. COST IS $135.00

Covered in Class:

Range Safety Rules
Safe Operations, Use of Safety, Loading and Unloading
Proper Grip and Stance
Review Basic Disassemble and Reassemble
Sight Placement, Round Trajectory and Offset (POA/POI)
Unconventional Shooting Positions, Techniques and use of Cover
Multiple Targets, Mixed Distances and Decision Making
Perform Tactical / Combat Reloads and Malfunction Drills

This is a comprehensive 4 hour fi***rms training course. During this course, students will review safe fi***rm handling and operation, enhanced dry-practice a live-fire techniques that focus on development of best practice. Cover/concealment, magazine management and use of cover. Transition to unconventional shooting positions, acquiring targets at multiple distances.

What to Bring:
AR-15 or Equivalent in Good Working Order
300 Rounds of Ammo
2-3 Magazines, Magazine Pouch and Rigs are Optional
Hearing and Eye Protection
Sling, Gloves and Knee Pads are Optional
Brim Hat
