This coming weekend I have short hours on Saturday fyi. 5am-8am on Saturday to fill the void then I’m out of town for the day. No nightcrawlers this weekend fyi.

Pool 5a- 645.9ft
Pool 5a flow 7730cfs
Water temp 75F-79F

Pool 6 level 5.68ft
Pool 6 flow - 8,450cfs (extremely slow)
Water temp - 75F-79F

Guys have been picking up larger walleyes in heavier current areas. Jigging and casting leeches & chubs has worked best.

Flatheads have been biting on larger chubs, suckers and occasional cut bait. Bite is slower but catches are definitely still around with decent size.

Little bit of our schedule going into fall! It’s a tad early but wanted to give everyone a heads up on what we’ll carry and when.

Sept 11th- We’ll be back to Fatheads!
October 23rd- Well get a load of suckers in 5-12”
End of November - Waxies will be in the menu again.

I make no promises but I’ll be working on a way to bring in some shiners for ice season I’m sure qty will be very limited but be a nice treat! I may also have a nice surprise in October but I can’t give anything away just yet. 😁

Also if you like SPIKES, I can get them, red or white, just let me know before Friday of any week and I’ll get some in. Main target will be wax worms that aren’t dead & black when you open the container 😳🤮 I dealt with this locally here last winter and you will NOT get that here- ever. I’ll offer 25ct and 250ct this season.

As always, if you need something bait wise you like to use, shoot me a message and I’ll see what I can get for ya if we don’t normally carry it.

Care in the shop~ LEECHES~ Every 2 days, every container gets fresh clean oxygenated water with all our leeches, it’s tedious, but worth the effort. We keep our water between 45-50 degrees in our holding tank too as well as the fridges… it’s a little chilly on the hands but gotta toughen up for ice season anyways! 🤓💪🏼

Before pickup… they get a fresh water change then too to make sure you leeches stay healthy and lively for your next trip out fishing!

1 dozen ct large leeches $8
1 dozen ct JUMBO leeches $10
