Imagine our surprise to see "Sig the Canoe" hanging in the entry at Back Channel Brewing Co in Spring Park, MN over the weekend. Sig was "born" over a decade ago and traveled around the USA to be signed by paddlers in support of Save the Boundary Waters and ultimately made it to the District of Colombia and our elected officials. Turns out Save the Boundary Waters is holding a BWCA Craft Beer Night at Back Channel this coming Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 5-8pm.
