USTA Mississippi is hosting a Level 1 Coaching Fundamentals Workshop July 12-13 at River Hills Club in Jackson, MS!

This workshop is great for school coaches, community coaches, or coaches looking to start the certification process that want to go on to become PTR or RSPA certified!

Congratulations Isabel Beauchamp!

Isabel Beauchamp is a proud soon-to-be graduate of Winona Christian School, where she served as the valedictorian of her senior class. This fall, she will attend Mississippi College to pursue a major in Business.
Throughout her high school years, Isabel developed a passion for tennis, playing on her school's varsity team for six years. Her most memorable moment was winning her final match of the season in a thrilling third-set tiebreaker. She cherishes the friendships formed on and off the court, especially the post-match dinners with friends after away games.
Isabel's tennis journey includes participating in Junior Team Tennis, where her mother—an avid Rafael Nadal fan—inspired her to switch from a natural right-handed player to a lefty. This change significantly enhanced her topspin on ground strokes. During her senior year, she achieved an impressive record, winning all but one match, and was honored with the "Best Topspin Award." Her tennis idol is Serena Williams.
With a passion for both academics and sports, Isabel looks forward to excelling in her college studies and continues to cherish the lessons learned through her dedication to tennis and her friendships along the way.

Congratulations Brennan McGlothin!

Brennan McGlothin, a graduating senior from French Camp Academy, is set to attend Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College to pursue a degree in Business. A dominant force in high school tennis, Brennan is a three-time MHSAA State Champion in boys singles, Class 1/2A. He cherishes his third state championship victory the most, recognizing the incredible support from his family, friends, and the French Camp Academy staff. Brennan's impressive list of accomplishments includes three consecutive state titles, three Region IV District Championships, and an outstanding high school record of 64-4 (52-0 since his sophomore year). His coach highlights his dedication and discipline, noting his leadership on the court. However, Brennan humbly attributes all of his success to his faith, stating that none of it would be possible without Christ's blessings and grace. His future plans involve playing tennis at MGCCC, then continuing his studies in accounting and math, with a vision of returning to French Camp Academy to teach math and coach tennis while maintaining an accounting position. Brennan admires professional tennis player Novak Djokovic for his skill, humility, and care for others, finding inspiration in his game
