VICTORY LANE AT THUNDER HILL!

Jonny picked up the feature win Thursday night at Thunder Hill Speedway and finished second in the BP Thunder Hill Speedway points championship, only nine points out of the top spot.

The final standings were a clean sweep for a great group of racers:

1st – Archer Hoffbeck Hoffbeck Motorsports
2nd – Jonny
3rd – Allen Byrne Byrne Racing

All three are fellow Demon Racing Chassis drivers aka The Stooges. It was a 1-2-3 finish for Demon Racing Chassis, Dan Henning Racing wings and Schurr Power - TSR

Thursday was even more special because Luke also earned a feature win—the second time this season that Jonny and Luke visited Victory Lane on the same night. Jonny’s hockey teammate Larkin, who plays goalie, was there and joined him in Victory Lane.

Thursday’s win came with a TSR engine. Jonny raced with both TSR and PowermaX Racing Products engines to wins throughout the season, and we appreciate the support from both.

FROM B-MAINS TO CHAMPION!

Early last year, Luke was racing in B-mains early in the year. Now he is a Thunder Hill Speedway champion!

Luke picked up another feature win and secured the Thunder Hill Speedway points championship—the first championship of his racing career. We couldn’t be prouder of how far he has come.

For this win, Luke was powered by a PowermaX Racing Products engine on his Demon Racing Chassis with a Dan Henning Racing wing. TWL Motorsports engines won some races for the #4 as well.

A bit of exciting news from the infield at Atwater Karting Speedway

Jake Frericks of Frericks Brothers Racing and J.J. took a few minutes to announce the handoff of the northern portion of Pettit Racing’s Demon Racing Chassis dealership.

You’ll hear kids playing in the background and the audio isn’t perfect, but that’s actually pretty fitting. Family, kids and racing are a big part of what Jake and his crew are about, and the infield at Atwater felt like the right place to make the announcement.

Moving forward, Jake and Frericks Brothers Racing will be taking over Demon kart and parts sales in the area.

Pettit Racing will no longer have an official dealership relationship with Demon Racing Chassis, but you’ll still see us running Demon karts and being active at the track.

For us, this change gives Pettit Racing more time to focus on what we really want the team to be — racing, marketing, supporting the companies that support our drivers, and creating value for our sponsors on and off the track.

We’ll also continue helping racers locally with setup work and products from Zamp Racing, Hoosier Racing Tire and Rocket Sprockets, along with some other things we’re working on.

We’re excited for Jake and his crew and think they’re a great fit to take the Demon sales side forward.

Pettit Racing will continue to be heavily involved in the sport. You’ll still see us at the track racing, helping some racers, working with our partners and sponsors, and continuing to grow the team as our drivers move into the next stages of their racing.
