🌟📚 Another AMAZING Week at Alter Kids Academy! 📚🌟

What a wonderful week of learning, laughter, creativity, and growing in God's Word! ❤️

At Alter Kids Academy, we believe some of the BEST learning happens when little hands are busy, young minds are curious, and hearts are focused on Jesus! ✝️

🧱 Tower of Babel STEM Challenge: Our little builders put their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test as they tackled the Tower of Babel Challenge! What a fun way to bring a Bible story to life while exploring nlengineering and construction!

📖 Bible Study – The Book of Job: We learned about Job's faithfulness through difficult times and how we can trust God even when life doesn't go as planned. What powerful lessons for little hearts! ❤️

✏️ Academic Adventures: From letters and numbers to reading, writing, and critical thinking, our students continued building strong academic foundations through engaging, hands-on learning!

🏃‍♀️ PE with Mrs. Stephanie: We got those little bodies moving! Through exercise, games, and physical activities, our students practiced coordination, teamwork, and healthy habits while having a BLAST!

🍞 Sourdough Lessons with Mrs. Denise: A special THANK YOU to Mrs. Denise for sharing the wonderful art of sourdough baking with our students! From learning about ingredients to creating their own sourdough starters, our little learners experienced real-life skills, science, and a little kitchen magic! 🥖❤️

🌱 Faith. Academics. Life Skills. Discovery.

Every activity has a purpose, every lesson is an opportunity, and every child is a blessing!

We are so thankful for the wonderful people who pour their time, talents, and love into our students. It truly takes a village, and God has blessed us with an incredible one! 💕

PLAY DAY UPDATE!

Due to the anticipated weather conditions across Texas this weekend, we have made the difficult decision to CANCEL our October 3rd Play Day with Sean Townsend. The safety of our special guest and everyone traveling to join us is our top priority. While we are incredibly disappointed, we believe this is the best decision for everyone involved.
We are so grateful for the excitement and support surrounding our first big Alter Active event, but this weather event can potentially bring flooding to many areas across the state and we would never want to jeopardize the safety of anyone.

We thank you for understanding and look forward to the start of classes next week! ❤️

🩷📚 Learning, creating, moving, and worshiping together at Alter Kids Academy! ✝️

What a full and FUN week our AKA kids have had! We love that learning here goes far beyond a worksheet or textbook. Every day gives our students opportunities to grow academically, creatively, physically, socially, and spiritually. 🥰

📚 Academics — Building strong foundations in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.

🧶 Crocheting with Ms. Mary Alice Helman — Our students got to learn a wonderful hands-on skill while practicing patience, focus, and fine-motor skills. We are so thankful for special friends who share their talents with our kids! 🩷

🤸 PE with Ms. Stephanie — Moving those bodies, building coordination, and having LOTS of fun!

🔬 STEM — Exploring, creating, problem-solving, and discovering how things work through hands-on learning.

🙌🎶 Praise & Worship — Our favorite kind of learning! Taking time to worship Jesus, learn His Word, and remind our children that He is at the center of everything we do.

There is something pretty special about watching little minds grow, hands create, bodies move, friendships form, and hearts learn to love Jesus. 🩷

🔥🏕️ What a WEEK at Alter Kids Academy! 🏕️🔥

Learning is always better when we can see it, do it, and experience it! 🩷

This week was packed with hands-on learning and some pretty special visitors!

🚒 A huge THANK YOU to the Winnsboro Fire Department for coming to AKA and teaching our students about fire safety! Our kids loved meeting our firefighters, learning how they help keep our community safe, and discovering what to do in an emergency.

🏕️ Then we brought the learning indoors with a little indoor camping! We practiced the fire-safety lessons we had learned and, of course, no camping adventure would be complete without s’mores! 🔥🍫

Ms Stephanie with Alter Active got everyone moving during PE, while Ms. Heather led our Bible study as we learned about God’s Creation. 🌎🌿☀️

🧪 We also squeezed in STEM exploration, academics, hands-on activities, play, laughter, and lots of learning along the way!

We love watching our students discover that learning doesn’t only happen with a pencil and paper. At AKA, we want them to explore, create, move, ask questions, and see God’s hand in the world around them. 💗

Another wonderful week of growing minds and devoted hearts at Alter Kids Academy! 📚✝️🩷
