🐴 Finding equestrian events shouldn’t require searching through twenty different Facebook groups!

We’re excited to have the Union Horse Expo listed on the Equestrian World App—a growing platform created to bring horse shows, clinics, expos, competitions, and other equine events together in one convenient place.

Event organizers can upload show bills, flyers, schedules, event details, venue information, fees, deadlines, and other important documents so attendees can find everything they need in one place.

Users can search for events by location, date, discipline, level, organizer, and more. They can save and follow events, follow organizers to keep up with all of their upcoming shows, and receive notifications when new events or important updates are posted.

What we especially love is the bigger vision behind Equestrian World: helping grassroots events and everyday equestrians gain more visibility while creating new opportunities for brands to support the people and smaller events that make up so much of our horse community. Some exciting features are still in development, and we’re looking forward to watching the platform grow!

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR OUR VOLUNTEERS AND GROUND 40

We are looking for a few generous individuals or local businesses willing to donate refreshments for our Union Horse Expo volunteers and the Ground 40 team on Saturday, September 19.

Helpful donations include:

* Cases of bottled water
* Sports drinks
* Individually packaged snacks
* Granola bars
* Crackers, chips, or trail mix
* Ice

Our volunteers and Ground 40 members will spend much of the day outside assisting with parking, traffic, vendor setup, guest directions, demonstrations, vendor breaks, cleanup, and other event needs. With warm temperatures possible, we want to ensure everyone has plenty of water, drinks, and quick snacks available throughout the day.

Every donation—large or small—will help us care for the people generously giving their time to make the Expo possible.

If you or your business would like to contribute, please message the Union Horse Expo page or contact Hailey at (704) 221-9660 to coordinate your donation.

We are closely monitoring the forecast. The chance of rain is currently low, and the Expo is expected to take place rain or shine unless dangerous weather requires a change.

Any unopened drinks or snacks remaining after the Expo will be donated to our participating nonprofit partners, so nothing will go to waste and your generosity will continue helping our community.

WANTED: CONTENT CREATOR(S)!

The Union Horse Expo is searching for one or more creative, dependable people to help capture our largest event yet!

Saturday, September 19, 2026

We’re looking for help capturing:

• Horses and demonstrations
• Vendors and food trucks
• Guests and activities
• Candid and behind-the-scenes moments
• Photos and short-form vertical videos or Reels

No professional experience is required! Your creativity and reliability matter more than a résumé. Phones and cameras are both welcome—we care more about your eye for capturing great moments than what equipment you use.

This is a volunteer opportunity and a GREAT chance for a student, beginner, aspiring content creator, equestrian photographer, or anyone wanting to build an equine and event portfolio. Full-day availability is preferred, but partial-day assistance may also be considered.

While this event-day opportunity is volunteer-based, strong contributors may be considered for future paid or freelance equine and event projects as our events continue to grow.
