We started 2026 off right!! This great family came in and harvested 2 fallow, an oryx, black buck and a wildebeest! Plenty of meat for their freezer! Thanks for coming to hunt with us! It was a great time!!

We ended 2025 with a bang! Great local fam hunted with us this past weekend and the boys did great!! Nolan shot this beautiful whitetail buck with the best Texas sunrise you could ask for. If that pic doesn’t scream Texas, I don’t know what does. Ian, our youngest hunter we’ve had at the ranch at just 7, harvested this gorgeous blackbuck!! Got some fishing in and card games. It was a fun weekend!! Perfect way to say goodbye to 2025!! Thanks ya’ll for hunting with us!!

Last weekend we had some newcomers to our ranch from VA but clearly they are seasoned hunters! Such a great friend/family group! They were able to harvest 5 rams, an Ibex, oryx, a 200+ inch whitetail and a bull Bison all in a matter of 12 hours! What an awesome, whirlwind of a day! Such an exciting hunt! Thanks ya’ll for coming for the quick visit! It was short but man was it successful! 😁

It’s been a busy few weeks here at the ranch between hunts and Christmas. Haven’t had time to post much! We had our ever so loyal crew from Colorado and now Oklahoma and TX come down and slay a couple hogs and Harvey got a birthday ram! Happy Birthday Harvey! Never a dull moment when ya’ll come visit! Looking forward to next time!

The power couples continue!! This wonderful fam came in and harvested a bison, aoudad and fallow! Lots of meat for their coolers!!! Always a great time when they come!!

Last weekend we had this amazing couple come back to the ranch and harvest a water buffalo and 2 large Hogs! The water buffalo was such a huge animal!! Impressive! Took just over 2 hours to break him down and get him in the cooler…not too shabby!! Definitely the biggest animal taken so far at W&R! Thank you Rube and Nikki for hunting at our ranch!! Loved seeing you again!
