Sorry we had a delay and the Summer Brochure will not be out until next week. You can view our brochure online at www.winfieldrec.com, click program guide on the home page to view. Registration forms were sent to the schools so look for those in the backpacks of your kiddos! You can also stop by the Recreation office to get a registration form as well.

Looking for a great way to earn extra money, stay involved in sports, and give back to the community? Join the Winfield Recreation Commission team as a Youth Baseball/Softball Umpire!

✅ Earn $16–$25 per hour
✅ Help teach kids the game
✅ Stay active and involved

Requirements:
• At least 16 years old
• Good communication skills
• Basic knowledge of baseball/softball
• Availability: Weeknights in May–June
📅 Will provide training before the season begins

🏈Youth Flag Football Camp🏈

If you child is playing in our flag football league, or even just want to learn more about the game while having fun, this camp is for you!
The camp will be held this coming Wednesday evening at Southwestern College Jantz Stadium from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
This is for all 1st-6th Graders!
Sign up online, at the Rec office, or over the phone!
We can't wait to hit the gridiron! See you there!

What an awesome day at our Youth Track Meet! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
We had so many young athletes out competing, improving, and most importantly—having fun! From sprints to distance races, jumps to relays, the effort and energy on display was incredible all across the track.
A huge thank you to all of our participants for giving it your all, to the parents and fans for bringing the support, and to our volunteers and staff who helped everything run smoothly. Events like today are what make our community special!
We love seeing these kids grow in confidence and sportsmanship every time they step out there. 💪
Great job today, everyone—keep working hard and keep competing!

🏃‍♂️ Youth Track Meet Reminder! 🏃‍♀️

Our Youth Track Meet is set for this Sunday afternoon at the Southwestern College Track!

🕦 Check-in begins at 11:30 AM
🕐 Field Events start at 1:00 PM
🏃‍♂️ Running Events will start after all field events are finished

👕 If you still need to pick up your shirt, you can stop by our office beforehand or grab it at the meet.

📌 Event Info:
• All participants must choose 3 events to participate in.
• 3rd–6th graders may add a relay after their 3 events.

We’re looking forward to a great day at the track—see you there!

🏈 What a Night to Kick Off the Season! 🏈

Last night marked our first Youth Flag Football games of the season, and it did not disappoint! From big plays and touchdowns to great teamwork and sportsmanship, it was an awesome way to start the season.
We loved seeing the energy from our players and the support from families and fans in the stands. This is what rec sports is all about! 🙌
Shoutout to all of our athletes, coaches, and officials for making opening night a success. We’re just getting started — it’s going to be a great season!
