Throttle for a power assist on a customers XCR. We modified it to be wrist activated. Works pretty well. We shall see how it does over time. This one did not come with a throttle and the Electronic Di2 shifter was mounted below the double pull elbow brake where she could not operate it. The elbow brake worked pretty well. However, she is only 5’4” and after we made seat brackets to allow the seat back to move forward enough so she could actually reach pedaling the Handpedals all the way around the elbow brake, attached to the seat back would not adjust/slide back away from the the cranks and this created interference between Handpedals and elbow brake. So we had to modify that as well. We shortened the “elbow” part and it did reduce leverage a bit but seems to work ok. If this doesn’t work out like we hope we will install our elbow brake and linkage. It is so fun helping people get past a fit issue with a cycle. But hey, it keeps us busy.

The Adaptive Cycling Meetup is FREE to participants and includes 3 days of guided rides on Bentonville's amazing, handcycle friendly soft-surface (dirt) trails at multiple ability levels. It's all here - downhill, flow trails, cross country, techie climbing, and more. Northwest Arkansas also has 50+ miles of dedicated hard surface cycling trails for anyone wanting to stay on pavement.
When the riding's done there will be a FREE party with great food, and trail builders to hear YOUR feedback on how to make the riding even better for next year!

You can bring your friends and support riders to be part of the fun. If you prefer to fly solo local support riders will be provided.
The event is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike), however, there may be participants attending that have extra off-road handcycles for loan or demo. If you don't have an off-road machine and want to join, post a request in this forum.

Again, no cost to participate but RSVP ahead of time is required for planning. Looking forward to seeing you here!

I love these wheels on my chair and my HC. I raced a brick course several times with various wheels and compared to my zips the Spinergy was much smother ride and faster.

About time to make that QHG. This tape works but waste time & tape. Not to mention your stuck with a hammer hanging off your hand from start to finish.
