A message from Mr Jesse:
Dear Dancers and Families,
At the stage rehearsal tonight, I was positively overwhelmed by the display of dedication, talent, passion, and love for performing that I saw in so many of the dancers. "Proud" doesn't even begin to convey how I felt! From the littles who fearlessly stepped into the spotlight for the first time to the energetic jazz dances to the expressive and emotional lyrical pieces to the fun and ever-young adults, you reminded me so deeply, again and again, what I love about performance: putting your talent, your work, your perseverance, and your SELF on the stage, on display for the world to see. Thank you for what you gave tonight.
In my "day job" as a leadership consultant, I spend so much time teaching leaders and workplaces what talent looks like, how to recognize it, how to encourage and develop it. And I think I learned that from working with you all. You show me what courage, brilliance, and passion look like.
Our recital will be beautiful. Thank you.
