Longtime Water Valley resident and a loyal friend to everyone he met, John MacQueen, Sr., died Nov. 1 at the age of 96.

John’s family invites those who knew him to funeral services at 11 a.m., Wed., Nov. 8 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.John is survived by daughter Joanne, and sons John Jr., and Jim, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. John’s kind-hearted demeanor will be missed by everyone in our community.

Hi all!

After monitoring several weather stations and working closely together, it has been decided that the Raising Cain concert at RainDance River Resort Park on July 8th is cancelled.

However, the concert is being rescheduled and a new date for the event will be provided as soon as it's available.
