Adelle was recognized after her first track meet because she killed it in the 55m hurdles. She got first from her school for the 6th and 7th graders and was only 2 tenths away from breaking the school record!! She had barely even practiced the hurdles and took two pretty bad falls before the meet, so I have no doubt with a little more practice she’ll be smashing that record! 🌟

Look who came to my barre class today!! Julie was one of my most loyal participants back in SoCo and to see her face today made me so happy! I’m grateful that she has ties to Sacramento because being able to still see her every now and then is a real treat! Swipe to see us at her first High Fitness class with me back in 2022. 💕

Look who’s got a new insta name! 💁🏻‍♀️ I’ve been meaning to do this for over a year when I started teaching another format and when I stopped posting to my personal account. Thought this would be a great time to do a mini introduction and tell you more about me!

•I’m the second oldest of 7 GIRLS!
•I’m a mom to 3 kids - 2 girls and a boy
•I’m turning 40 this December 31st
•I got married just after I turned 19 and my 20th anniversary is next week
•We recently picked up and moved away from a home and place that we truly loved.
•LOVE all things group fitness!
•IVF mom (took over 5 years to get pregnant with my first and have done 7 full rounds of IVF)
•I have PCOS, hypothyroidism, a tiny tumor on my pituitary gland, and struggle with migraines 🤪
•My youngest was recently diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome
•My favorite food is nachos
•I hate donuts and cake
•I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
•I have my Esthetician license
•I was a competitive swimmer
•I’m bad at all sports that include a ball
•My ticket master account is freakishly lucky getting Taylor Swift tickets 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️
•I went sky diving when I was 18 and wasn’t too impressed. Wished it felt like you were falling and not just floating

We have officially been in our new house for 3 weeks. We all came up to the balcony to enjoy the view of the sunset but that didn’t last long because the mosquitos here are crazy!! They are everywhere and out all day long. 👎🏻
I wanted to give an update on how we are adjusting. The kids have been for the most part doing so well! Dallas says he already has more friends than at his old school and has had a couple play dates with his new friends. He says school here is WAY more fun because they do so many more fun things in between the boring stuff. 🤣
Adelle is slowly starting to like school. It was definitely an adjustment for her switching to a middle school mid year. She is liking it more and more with each day. She’s also starting to get to know her volleyball team better so that’s making it more fun. She still calls her old bestie from Windsor almost daily and misses her a whole lot. Jade has been doing amazing. I worried about her probably the most. She has a good little group of friends at school and says everyone is just so nice. She tried out for the HS musical and got a fun part that she’s excited for. I’m excited to get back into teaching fitness classes this week and our home is finally starting to feel like “home” now that the workers are gone and we’ve unpacked all the boxes. 🙌🏻 We miss all our friends like crazy and looking forward to when we get to come back to Windsor in a couple weeks!

Merry Christmas! A little update of our family-
If you haven’t heard, we are moving to Lincoln, Ca next week. Dan started a new job six months ago. He’s now in charge at Sutter Faith Auburn hospital and Sutter Center for Psychiatry. We are sad to leave our home and friends but looking forward to a new adventure. Dan had back surgery earlier this year and is doing so much better! We are so grateful. He’s still the biggest Michigan fan and looking forward to the game on the first. GO BLUE!

Jade is 14 and has been excelling in her freshman year. She tried golf for the first time and played on her high school team. She continues to love music and is taking voice and guitar lessons. Her and Adelle are looking forward to our new house where they get to share a jack and jill bathroom.

Adelle turns 12 in 4 days! She’s in 6th grade and with the move she will be going from elementary school to middle school! She’s a little nervous for the change, but I’m confident she will make friends fast. She was the top scorer on her soccer team and already made a club volleyball team in Sacramento. She’s hoping to play basketball at her new school in the Spring. Adelle’s highlight of the year was attending the Taylor Swift Eras tour.

Dallas is in third grade and loves school. Dallas is super smart in math and is naturally good with numbers. If he could choose, he’d go school everyday and come straight home to play legos until bedtime. He also loves to play board games.

I’ve been busy getting the house ready to sell and keeping it clean! I have loved serving for the past year as the primary president at church. I don’t think the move has hit me just yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing Dan more often in the new year!

We are grateful for this time of year where we can focus a little more on the birth of our Savior.
