I was 4 years old when I started training
Why did you start training?
I started training because my parents wanted me to be less shy.
What benefits have you received from the martial arts?
Two main benefits I have received from the martial arts are my higher confidence levels and my better social skills.
What is your favorite part of being an instructor?
My favorite part of being an instructor is that I get to learn more about the students.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I rollerblade, rollerskate, ski, and work on homework.
What is your favorite meal?
My favorite meal is Beef Stew.

I started training around the age of 5
Why did you start training
I started training to gain better physical fitness along with better fighting skills.
What benefits have you received from the martial arts
Overall I have gained more confidence, along with the ability to push myself outside my comfort zone. Not only that, I have gained a lot more physical strength. Another thing I have gained from doing martial arts is the ability to be more respectful and responsible.
What is your favorite part of being an instructor?
My favorite part of being an instructor is being able to work with kids. I love to give back the knowledge that I have gained throughout my experience of martial arts. So becoming an instructor I was able to do exactly that. I love to see the smiles and laughs that are brought to class through the kids, it is what makes my day. I think another thing that I love about being an instructor is growth. I love to see the kids come in and progress through discipline, technique, and overall confidence.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I love to work on cars, ride dirtbikes, hang out with friends, and spend time with family. During the winter my favorite thing to do is a snowboard and go sledding.
What is your favorite meal?
My favorite meal is mac and cheese
