Liv is an AICE diploma recipient, AP Capstone student, and Yearbook Editor, but she is also the keeper of some very important girls team hotel traditions.
She knows that the magic of a team isn’t just what happens between the buoys. It is the late nights in hotel rooms before H***h and States, the inside jokes, and the traditions that only the girls team knows about. Those are the memories she is carrying with her, and honestly, we feel the same way. This fall, Liv heads to West Virginia University, trading the Butler Chain for the Appalachian Mountains. We have a feeling she will find her people there just as she did at OARS.
She left us with some words worth sharing: “I hope everyone who has the opportunity to fall in love with the sport of rowing carries the passion, dedication, and hard work that it teaches with them into all future endeavors.” A huge thank you goes to Liv’s mom and dad for giving her every opportunity, to her sisters for being her biggest supporters and her greatest laughs, and to all the coaches who pushed her to grow both as a rower and a person. Congratulations, Liv. We are so proud of you!
