The Abiding CEO® has always been rooted in a simple hope: that Christian entrepreneurs could lead from a place of security in Christ, peace in their hearts, and clarity in their calling.

We talked about the pressure of business, the need for rest, the work of healing, the pull of proving ourselves, and the freedom that comes when our identity is grounded in God instead of performance.

Those conversations will stay with me.

As I officially close this chapter, I want to say thank you for allowing The Abiding CEO® to be part of your life. Thank you for every listen, every share, every conversation, and every moment you chose to pause and reflect.

After much prayer and reflection, I am bringing The Abiding CEO® to a close.

When I began this platform, I wanted to make room for Christian entrepreneurs who were carrying the weight of leadership, business, calling, and everyday life. I hoped it could be a place where we could talk honestly about faith, identity, emotional health, work, rest, and the ways God meets us in all of it.

Over time, The Abiding CEO® became a space for meaningful conversations, resources, coaching, and encouragement. Through every episode, message, session, and shared reflection, I have been reminded that none of us were meant to carry the weight of leadership alone.

Thank you for being part of this season.

Thank you for listening, sharing, asking thoughtful questions, and allowing this work to meet you in real life. Your support has meant more to me than I can put into words.

This is a bittersweet one.
After years of sharing conversations around faith, attachment, trauma, leadership, and Kingdom business, I'm closing a chapter with The Abiding CEO®.

Not because it failed.
Because the season changed.
My mental health practice is growing. New speaking opportunities are emerging. And as I've prayed about what requires my attention in this next season, I've sensed God asking me to focus.

Sometimes the assignment is finished.
And sometimes a healthy goodbye is an act of obedience.
I'm incredibly grateful for every person who listened, shared, messaged me, or took something from these conversations and applied it to your own life.

Thank you for being here.
The podcast may be ending, but abiding isn't.
It's a way of life.

Building the legacy.

But sometimes faithful leadership means knowing when to stop building something.
A healthy goodbye doesn't erase what came before it.
It honors it.
It acknowledges what that season taught you and trusts God enough to move forward.

So I'm asking you:
What might you need to release so you can fully focus on what God is doing next?
No pressure to answer publicly.
Just take it to prayer.

This is something I'm learning personally.
We can become so attached to what God has done that we struggle to release it when He begins doing something new.
But fruitfulness doesn't always mean permanence.

Sometimes God prunes.
Sometimes He redirects.
Sometimes He asks us to release something good because He needs our attention elsewhere.

So here's something to sit with today:
Is there a season you're holding onto that God may be asking you to release?
You don't have to know what's next.
You just have to trust the One who does.
“Every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

There are seasons we desperately want to hold onto because they have been meaningful, fruitful, and deeply personal.
But what happens when God says, It's time to let go?
In this special episode of The Abiding CEO® Podcast, Dr. Betsy Mejias shares a deeply personal reflection on the decision to step away from the podcast after years of conversations about faith, attachment, trauma, leadership, and Kingdom business.
As her mental health practice continues to grow and new speaking opportunities and assignments emerge, Dr. Betsy found herself asking God how to steward everything in front of her. Through prayer and reflection, she sensed that the season of The Abiding CEO® was coming to an end, or at least changing into something different.
This isn't a story about failure.
It's about discernment, pruning, healthy goodbyes, and trusting God when an assignment has been completed.
Dr. Betsy also offers encouragement for anyone who may be holding onto a season, relationship, role, business idea, or responsibility that God may be asking them to release.
Because sometimes letting go isn't giving up.
Sometimes it's obedience.
And when God prunes a fruitful branch, He does it so that it can bear more fruit.
“Every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

Start your day with this grounding truth: Your worth is not tied to your business performance, your revenue, or how hard you hustle today.

You are a daughter or son of God first.

Your business is a beautiful calling, but it is not your identity. When we forget this, we fall back into the exhausting cycle of striving and proving. But when you operate from a secure identity in Christ, you can lead with clarity, peace, and steady confidence.
