You Outdoor Adventures is a community-based organization, founded, and initially funded by a grassroots oriented team. Our sole goal is to promote the well-being that comes with any variety of outdoor activities
irrespective of age, gender, origin, or orientation. The soul of our organization is the smiles that our activities put on people's faces. Our mission is simple. We bring families to the outdoors while creating events than brings the outdoors to the hearts of parents and their kids. We are organizers, planners, teachers, and instructors to them. More importantly, we are often the only catalyst that brings parents and theirs kids together at an event that is far away from computers and repetitious household media. Our events literally facilitate parents and their kids connecting again. We aren't an organization run by administrators and moderators. We are, in fact, an organization founded by parents who grew up remembering our own fathers, mothers, aunts, uncles, and grandparents taking us fishing, camping, hunting, and hiking. That said, it is more important than ever for kids and parents to get outside and enjoy the freedom of nature. A little about me;
I 've worked a FT job 9-6 for 11 yrs. I also sell HTV apparel and vinyl decals to supplement the finances for the events. Your Outdoor Adventures social media presence ranges from 10 pages, instagram, rumble, twitter, tiktok, youtube, reddit, and amazon. I utilize my social media platforms as a product marketer. We have held 2, Take a Kid Fishing with Your Outdoor Adventures events in Bethlehem Ga. We were provided a HOA stocked bass pond for the kids to catch and release in. Our goal is 50 children, and we always surpass that. The event is FREE of charge to the families, and all the kids leave with a "Just add water fishing kit" which includes a fully loaded tackle box, filled with donations and purchases by our facebook members and business sponsors. They also receive a fishing rod. I provide door prizes in the way of raffle tickets from the products I am sent to film for marketing. We just held our 1st Kids on Kayaks Demo Day at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder Ga. Vibe Kayaks from Marietta and Westbrook Supply Co from Atlanta, provided the extra kayaks and help. Volunteers from our local groups also assisted with their time and support. Our goal moving forward into 2023, is to offer multiple smaller events spread throughout the year.
