To any of my Florida or North Carolina friends - if you need a place to go, head north. We have multiple bedrooms that, while not luxurious, are warm, safe, and dry. We have a horse, goats, chickens, and one small human that your kids can play with...he has more toys than he could enjoy in his entire lifetime. Please, don't hesitate...just come up and rent a car at the airport (we're a very easy 20 minute drive up into the sticks), or we can come pick you up. We have plenty of small jobs (and lots of big ones, too) that can keep your mind occupied if you so choose. Just head north and message me. More importantly, though, stay safe...leave your material possessions that ARE replaceable and get out of the way. Love all you guys (even the ones that bicker with me), so do what you need to do to get out of there...

About 8 inches down so far...the wife is headed out to take care of the animals. Potentially another 4 inches before its all said and done. She said, "I bought a yellow jacket to work in, just in case I fell over incapacitated in the snow." Well, let's not test out the idea today.
