I just wanted to take a quiet moment before going to bed to express my thanks to all who have shared support in their own way. A word, a click, a meme, a text, whatever method chosen to let me know I was being thought about and not alone. Each and every one helped us SO much.

Getting through this extrememly challenging stage of my life was beyond difficult and truly was hour by hour way too many times.

Tomorrow afternoon, it's on to Phase 2.

Day by day radiation therapy recovery begins about 3 weeks after the last treatment. The radiation maintains 100% dosage stength for at least 2 full weeks and then expected to take another 3 to 56+ weeks until full recovery.

You read that right - up to a year or longer. All this knowing that I am likely going to need to battle this exact throat cancer yet again, sooner than later. So I will be rearming myself from the inside out; mentally, emotionally and physically for when that time comes.

This has changed me.

But tonight, I have begun to allow myself to feel this very personal victory. Around 1pm tomorrow, Phase 1 will have been completed. I'm giving myself the weekend to process, then address phase 2 beginning Monday.

As far as Keglers Kave Pro Shop is concerned, I WILL be back!
I just need time for my espophogus and body to heal, get my voice back, find my endurance and then slowly integrate myself back in.

Initially, the plan is to begin resuming communications via text messages this coming Monday. Once I'm able to speak, I will begin working during the day to see what my throat can handle.

I am not able to speak as of yet, so PLEASE, no phone calls for the moment. Cheryl and Charles will be in most league nights during the week to begin taking orders, communicating, providing minor services and selling accessories.

PLEASE NOTE *** Until the end of the year, there will be no credit card sales due to our provider launching new products and discontinuing support on our current cc machine. All sales for the remainder of the 2025 fiscal year will be cash and check only. I apologize for any inconveniemce. There is a cash machine in the bowling center, just outside the shop next to the snack bar and lottery machine.

(Rob Feinsilber) Bowled my 3rd 800 series tonight at Blue Valley Lanes. 299, 256, 258 for 813 4th game wasn't that great 199 for 1012 4 game series. Thank you Jim Stem and Keglers Kave for drilling me the Outer Limits Pearl and thank you to Scott Whidden for putting the logos on the shirts for our team.

What a day for 12 year old Zoie Strouse! She had 593 during her morning league at BVL and followed it with her very FIRST league 600 (617) in the afternoon travel league.

While only bowling for 3 years, she has put at least an equal amount of hours into her practice time, especially lately as she hones her single pin spare making skills.

She has her morning average up to a healthy 175 and travel up to 173. Not even a teenager yet, her hard work, focus and Dad’s guidance (Justin), should keep her numbers solid.

Well done, young lady!

Keglers Kave WILL be open as soon as I'm cleared by my surgeon. I apologize for not being available, but I AM on the road to recovery and look forward to serving everyone in 2023/2024 season!
