The Board of Education is honored to recognize George Rogers Clark Lady Cards Softball for finishing with a record-breaking 38-6 season, and advancing to the Final Four of the KHSAA State Softball Tournament at the University of Kentucky.

With their leadership, teamwork, and excellence, these ladies exemplify all competencies of the Portrait of a Learner. Congratulations! Your Greatness Shows!

Tonight, we finally had the opportunity to celebrate our Lady Cards with our end-of-season banquet! 🥎

With schedule changes, a busy summer, and travel ball commitments, finding a night when everyone could be together has been a challenge. While we were still missing a few of our players tonight, we were able to come together and celebrate a season that will go down in GRC Softball history.

This team accomplished SO MUCH this season! From breaking school records, to individual players setting new records, to making an incredible run all the way to the Final Four of the KHSAA State Tournament, these girls gave us a season to remember. Their hard work, determination, resilience, and belief in one another were evident every time they stepped on the field. They represented GRC Softball with pride and showed everyone what it means to be a Lady Cardinal. We are incredibly proud of this team and everything they accomplished this season. And while tonight was about celebrating what we’ve done, we know there is so much more to come. The future of GRC Softball is bright, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
