But that price tag?
Thatās not just for a horse.
That number carries the weight of every unseen hand that helped get that baby there.
Before the bright lightsā¦ before the bidding warsā¦ before the sounds of the hammer
There was a groom ā
the one there before sunrise and after dark. The one who knows every habit, every look, every off step. The one who whispered to that horse when no one else was around.
There was the exercise riderā¦ climbing on a young, unpredictable 2-year-old, risking everything just to help them learn their job.
There was the farrierā¦ balancing every step, making sure those legs could carry a future.
There was the vet teamā¦ scanning, checking, watching for anything that could end a dream in seconds.
There was the equine dentistā¦ making sure even the smallest detail wouldnāt hold that horse back.
There were the feed teams, the barn help, the night watchā¦ the people who lose sleep so these horses can shine.
And thenā¦ the consignors, the trainers, the breedersā¦ years of planning, risk, and belief wrapped into one moment when that gavel drops.
