Y'all I hate to make this post, I really do. I'm very non confrontational. HOWEVER 😆 This play structure is barely a month old. That being said there are some things we've been dealing with that need to be addressed. So please look over the new, updated rules for the play place. We really don't want to put a damper on your fun but we do have to think of everyone and keep everyone as safe as possible. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Parents help me, help you make the best play area we can for as long as we can :)

💛 WELL… LOOK WHO’S BACK IN THE OFFICE! 😂

Hi friends! It’s me, Darby — back at Happy Playce and attempting to return to something resembling a normal schedule. 😂

I’m SO sorry the hours got a little… creative last week. 🙃 Between being out of town, appointments, and life throwing a few curveballs my way, it was definitely one of those weeks where I found myself saying, “Well, THIS wasn’t on the schedule…” 😂

The good news is that things should be back to normal for at least another couple of weeks… HAHAHA, famous last words. 🤣

But seriously, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who was so patient and understanding last week. The grace y’all extended during the chaos means more to me than you probably realize. ❤️

Just a little reminder that Happy Playce is (mostly) a one-woman operation. 🙋‍♀️

Which means when I can’t be there, I have to call in the reinforcements — aka my wonderful friends and volunteers who are kind enough to come save the day. 😂❤️

So if you see that we’re closed, please know that it’s out of necessity, not because I decided I’d rather sit at home eating snacks. 😉😂

Sometimes I’m out of town. Sometimes I’m sick. Sometimes I have appointments. Sometimes life just says, “Sorry, ma’am. You’re not running the show today.” 😂

I promise we do our very best to keep y’all updated AS MUCH AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE when things change. We’ll update Facebook whenever we can and, if possible, put a note on the door so nobody makes the trip for nothing.

And speaking of reinforcements… 👀

If you’re someone who has thought, “I’d love to help Happy Playce, but I also really like getting things in return,” — I SEE YOU. 😂

I’m always looking to add more awesome people to my volunteer list who would be willing to help cover the play place when I can’t be there in exchange for admissions or punch cards.

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, just send me a message or stop in during regular business hours and let me know!

I’m incredibly lucky to have friends, volunteers, and a community who are willing to help me keep this little place going. And I genuinely could not do it without y’all.

So thank you for supporting my crazy little dream, for being patient when things don’t always go according to plan, and for continuing to show up for Happy Playce. 🥹💛

It means more than I can put into words. ❤️

Now… back to business. Come let your kids run wild so you can drink your coffee while it’s still hot. 😂☕️

sorry friends, we are still out of town and closed tomorrow for illness, back to school bug is hitting our friends hard. I will not be back in town until Wednesday, working hard to find someone to cover on Tuesday. Sorry for the late heads up, I am doing everything I can to keep the days we are out of town covered, but unfortunately am only 1 person with a few good friends who like to pitch in. If there's anyone with kids that'd like to be trained and be added to the list, we are always up for trading admissions/punch cards for helping out 😅

We will update here if we find someone tomorrow or any updates on Tuesday.

💛 ONE YEAR OF HAPPY PLAYCE 💙

One year.

It’s hard to believe that it has been ONE WHOLE YEAR since we bought Happy Playce. 🥹

When we took that leap, we had hopes, dreams, and a whole lot of faith… but I don't think any of us could have imagined everything this past year would bring.

There have been some bumps in the road. There have been days when we wondered if we were doing the right thing. There have been long days, hard days, stressful days, and plenty of moments where we've had to learn as we went.

But through every single one of them, there has been YOU. ❤️

Our community has shown up for us in ways that we will never be able to fully put into words. You've brought your kids to play. You've celebrated birthdays with us. You've attended events. You've shared our posts. You've told your friends about us. You've supported us through the good days AND the hard ones.

And for that, we are overwhelmingly thankful.

And somehow, after all of that, we just had our BEST MONTH YET. 🥹💙💛

We are so incredibly grateful.
