Late Score Costs Indiana Mavericks Against Indy Lightning
Sunday's game against Lightning was a heartbreaker for Mavericks, as they lost the lead late in an 8-7 defeat in Lafayette, IN. The game was tied at seven in the top of the fifth when an error scored one run.
Lightning got on the board in the top of the first inning after Parker Taylor singled down the left field line, Maddison Short singled to center field, and Madeline Twargoal grounded out, each scoring one run.
