Salmon derby is coming August 13th. Plans are being set and sponsors and donations are welcome. Nautical Creations will be one of the companies donating for grab bags and raffles. If you know anyone who'd be interested in donating please contact Cari Standifer (541)337-6297
If you'd like to enter the contest I urge you to do so as soon as you can. There will be a cut off date for entering. The date hasn't been set for the cutoff.

So Jake Tooley said in one of his posts that he could troll a pickle and catch a coho top water a few weeks back. So I made him some pickle spinners and I guess he was right. Coho love pickles🤣

Will Cleek caught his first salmon. Congratulations man! He managed to use a Salmon Slayer he bought 2 years ago and was finally able to put it to work. That's awesome!

I fished the incoming high tide with my kids and good friend Baltazar at point Adam's in Charleston. Thanks to the non selective Coho retention on the Coos River we were able to catch some keepers.
