2026 WYB FALL BALL (10u/12u) UPDATE:

Canceling Fall Ball didn’t sit well with us and we heard from many of you saying the same thing! We have an idea and hope you’ll give it a try.

Introducing WYB Sandlot League

When? Starting this Sunday at 5 PM
Where? Winamac Town Park
Who? 10u/12u boys/girls
Cost? FREE

Here’s how it works:
Depending on how many kids show up, we may have a practice-type situation where we work on skills or we may have a pick up game where we scrimmage each other. No uniforms, no umpires: just kids playing fall ball.

No need to register or sign up. Just show up. Swing what you bring! Come have fun at the ballpark. We expect most nights to last about an hour and a half. Volunteers needed and welcome to help with baseball instruction!

Due to low registration numbers, we have made the decision to cancel Fall Ball (10u/12u) for this year. Four years ago we started this program to support the development of our players and offer them a little more baseball before winter. It has been a very successful program. Our hope is that interest in Fall Ball (10u/12u) will pick up so that we can, once again, offer this program in the Fall of 2027!

This decision does not impact 2026 WYB T-Ball (5u). Our T-Ball numbers are stronger than ever! Players and Parents should be hearing from their coaches this week. More information will be posted on our website and Facebook as it becomes available!

Fall Ball (8u) Registration ends on August 28th. Numbers are low for this program as well. If we do not get the numbers, this program will be cancelled. There has been a great interest in this program, so we are surprised with the low turnout. If your son is 8 years old and is signed up to play Fall Ball (10u/12u) he may be eligible to play Fall Ball (8u). Let us know, and we can transfer the registration!

Full refunds will be issued in the coming weeks for anyone not participating in Fall Ball. Thank You!

Our fall programs are open to all area boys and girls regardless of skill level! Scholarships are available for anyone in need of financial assistance plus we have plenty of extra equipment to share. We welcome our neighbors to join us in the fun - you don’t have to attend Winamac Schools to be eligible!
