Just wanted to say, “thank you Wimberley!” Thanks for supporting and embracing this team through this incredible season. Wimberley is a special place, and it is because of all of you! These young men are lucky to represent this incredible community and school. Let’s do it all again next season!

A school record-setting season came to a close on Friday night for Wimberley Texan Hoops in the Region IV finals.
The Texans won a school record 36 games and matched the best-ever playoff finish for a Texans boys basketball team. On the KWVH broadcast Darren Masur said WHS had “maybe the best senior class in Wimberley history”, and the records back it up. It’s been a joy cheering y’all on - congratulations on a wonderful season, we’re proud of you!

KWVH 94.3 is proud to recognize Camden Hopkins, a junior at Wimberley High School and a standout in both Texan Basketball and Cross Country, as this week’s Dark Skies Tavern Scholar Athlete of the Week.

Highlights from our Regional Semifinal win over Jubilee Brownsville!

From Coach Whitten, “All gas and no breaks for the Texans tonight. We were relentless! CODE RED DEFENSE all night long! So proud of these guys! Tough 3 hour road trip and they were locked in and ready to compete! We are headed to the regional finals this Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Come and support these guys! More details to come. We are one of the last 8 teams left in the state! Let’s Gooooo!”
