🎾🍻 Hit & Happy Hour Thursdays🍻🎾

Heads up Wimberley and surrounding Communities!

The Wimberley Community Tennis Association is serving up some fun with a new weekly Hit & Happy Hour event!

• ⏰ Rally on the High School tennis courts starting at 5:30 PM (we’ll mix players in, as needed)

• 🍹 Around 7:00–7:30 PM, we’ll head to Willow Lake for social hour (with a special 20% off event promo)

Come for the tennis, stay for the happy hour – it’s a guaranteed smash. No pressure, just friends, fun, and a little topspin on your Thursday night.

✨ There’s nothin’ but L🎾VE in this fun group so we hope you join us this week!

WCTA member and local tennis instructor Amanda Perez is throwing a fun mixed tourney!

Mixed Doubles Fun Tourney
Sunday December 19th
1-4 pm
$20 per person entry fee

Grab a mixed partner and play!
She will do the draw on the 17th so let her know before then!

We have 3 teams registered and ready to play already!

We are blessed to have so many wonderful people willing to help us beginners elevate our game! One of those folks is Lee Wilson, one of our WCTA members. He asked us to let you all know that he is available for private and semi-private lessons! Please feel free to reach out to us or him directly via Facebook to inquire.

He is also a Yonex rep and can save you money on racquets, apparel and other tennis related items!

The coach sent these links to order commemorative Wimberley state champ t-shirts. It would be great if we could get all our members to order one and wear them proudly around town or at the courts or everywhere. If you want to order one, please use either link below to give your size and the number of t-shirts you want. i.e. 1-2-3 or 4. Please type in your name so we know which size you need and how many you want. These links are only for the order and no money is needed at this time. Bob will collect cash or a check from you and get it to the coach.

If you do order a shirt, please let us know so Bob can keep a list and be sure to get your shirt to you when they arrive. Just respond to this post along with your name, size and how many you ordered. Also, you need to order by the end of the day tomorrow so the coach can get the order in ASAP.

Just FYI, the bathrooms currently do not have water. If you have a key, please do not open them or use them. The school is aware of the problem and is addressing it. Once we hear back from the school, we will let you know!
