We have had many successful Gold N Grands, but this one takes the cake!

🌟 MM Dudes Legend and Donna Impey - Champion in the Green W/J Ranch Trail with Christine. This was only Rex’s 3rd show, first time in the bridle and first time showing with his owner Donna in the ranch rail

🌟 Hytime and Chris Oswald - Reserve Champion in the Green W/J Ranch Trail with Christine and Circuit Champion in that class for the 2 Gold N Grand shows. This was only Holly’s 4th show

🌟 Auto Desert Cat and Shelle Rawson- very first big show for her and she was such a good girl with a top 5 placing in the Green W/J Ranch Trail

🌟 Miss Little Smokum and Jackie Lyman - Top 5 buckle in the Limit W/J Ranch Trail. This was Jackie’s first ever buckle!! Anyone who knows Jackie and “Miss” know what a huge accomplishment this is for this pair!

🌟 The Cookie Machine and Grace Mahan - Champion in the youth trail, showmanship and horsemanship. It was unfortunate that there were limited numbers in the youth classes, but Grace and Cookie still had some personal best runs

🌟 Fuel Needs Cash and Laura Pennebaker - what can be said! Champions in the W/J Amateur and Limit Amateur Ranch Trail with a clean sweep of wins in the Limit class. And this was only their first show together!!

🌟 Shewiz Electric and Michael Silva - Champions in Open Ranch Trail, Reserve Champions in Open Ranch Riding and Circuit Champions in Ranch Trail for the two shows. She also had top 5 placings with Mike in the Amateur Ranch Riding

🌟 Gotta Spooky Chic and Melissa Burnette - Top 5 Buckle in the Open Ranch Trail. JB also picked up some AQHA points in ranch trail and had has debut in W/J ranch trail with Melissa!

🌟 MM Moonshine Spook and Margaret Netherby - Top 5 buckle in the W/J Limit Amateur Ranch Trail and Circuit Champions in that class!!

🌟Chica Dream and Shelley Young - first time ever showing ranch and these two earned a top 5 buckle in Amatuer Select Ranch Riding!! These two also had good placings in rail and trail

It was a bit of a whirlwind to get this all done, but I am so proud of my ladies and one gentleman who worked so hard and were so much fun!! Special thanks to Mikayla, as we couldn’t have done it without her. And, as always, thanks to The Murieta Equestrian Center and the Gold N Grand team that work so hard!!

We just love Watsonville!! A great show at a great venue!! Congratulations to Holly Wagner and Countess of Choclate on winning the reserve amateur all around championship!! Holly was also a 2x class winner in L1 ranch riding with Hytime. At only her third show, Hytime earned her first AQHA points for owner Chris Oswald open ranch trail. Congratulations also to Linda Sherman and All of a Southern on earning points in amateur and open L1 trail and in open L1 western riding. A small crew at this one, but a really fun time! Thank you to AQHB of SCV for working so hard to make it an enjoyable show! On to GNG!!

Well, it’s been a loooong couple of weeks in Vegas, but well worth the trip. A lot of good times, memories and accomplishments. Our congratulations go to -

🌟 Holly Wagner and Gotta Spooky Chic - Bronze Champion in the L1 Amateur Ranch Trail and Top 10 in the Rookie Ranch Trail. “JB” was generously on loan from his owner, Melissa Burnett.

🌟 Melissa Burnett and Gotta Spooky Chic - one spot out from being a finalist in the L1 Select Ranch Riding. “JB” also picked up several points in Senior Ranch Trail at the Pinnacle Circuit with Christy

🌟 Michael Silva and Shewiz Electric - Finalist in the Rookie Ranch Trail. “Jackie” and Christy also picked up several points in Senior Ranch Trail at Pinnacle

🌟 Grace Mahan and The Cookie Machine - Top 10 in the L1 14-18 Showmanship, Top 10 in the Rookie Youth Western Pleasure and Finalist in the Rookie Youth Horsemanship

🌟 Linda Sherman and All of a Southern - Top 10 in Rookie Western Riding, Finalist in L1 Select Trail and Finalist in L1 Select Western Riding

GNG was a great show for Team Stars! Some highlights include -

🌟 2 Champion and 1 top five buckles for Holly Wagner and Countess of Choclate in their first show as an amateur team

🌟 Champion Open Ranch Trail and AQHA points for Shewiz Electric

🌟 Two top five buckles in Ranch Trail for Margaret Netherby and MM Moonshine Spook- this team’s first buckles together!

🌟Champion in W/T Ranch Trail for Chris Oswald’s mare Hytime. This is only this horse’s second show as a ranch horse!

🌟 Top five in amateur Ranch Rail for Melissa Burnett and Gotta Spooky Chic. “JB” also picked up some AQHA open points in other ranch events

🌟 Top five buckle for Linda Sherman and All of a Southern in Western Riding

🌟 Not being able to attend the entire show, just some good practice for Grace Mahan and The Cookie Machine

**New Video & Price Reduction**

Limited Stylin Fella (Barley) is a 2021 Buckskin Overo Halter Gelding (regular registry), approximately 15.2-15.3 hands tall. Barley is the horse everyone always tells me they are looking for - Quiet, attractive, easy to ride, more whoa than go. He is making excellent progress in his ranch training (riding, rail and especially trail). I would still characterize him as green, however all the pieces are there now. It’s just a matter of putting time and miles on him to get him competitive in the ranch show pen .

While he may be green under saddle, Barley is an already proven halter horse. He has 80.5 halter points (44 amateur points, 36.5 open points), 22 grand championships and 16 reserve championships with limited showing. Barley is by multiple world champion BRT Limited Edition out of Mr. Yella Fella. His dam is by Hes Stylin.

Barley is 4 panel negative: 1 copy of PSSM1 and 1 copy of MYHM. He is non-symptomatic (no vaccine reactions) and is on vitamin E as part of his regular supplements. This has never caused him an issue, and it is only known due to his genetic testing done by the owners.

Winter is coming and the owners have too many yearlings coming up!! The price reduction reflects this, not the quality of the horse.

The California Chanpionships were a great time for our small group!! Congratulations ~

🌟 Nancy Darden and FRC Playin Riddles. Circuit Champion in the Select Ranch Trail! Riddle was also top ten in the Ranch Trail stakes class

🌟 Donnie Flahavan and It’s Showtime Mr. Reserve Circuit Champion in the Select Ranch Rail and Reserve All-Around in Select Ranch. Jordan was also 3rd in the Ranch Trail stakes class

🌟 Fuel Needs Cash, owned by Chris Oswald. ME picked up a number of points in senior ranch trail and was top ten in the Ranch Trail stakes class.
