So I have been neglectful on posts lately but have been truly fishing 🎣 a bunch lately. Fished the last four days including the small craft yesterday in Lady O. Thursday was a great group from Youngstown including an 11 and 12 year old. Can’t say it enough. Take kids fishing!!! See photo. Friday was the Lady’s Tournament Reeling for a Cure. Went back to my water from Thursday but got all dinked up and had to plan B it. Girls did great and got 5 quick cooler fish to get us to the weigh in. Saturday and Sunday we did a three boat trip each day with and . The 12 man group came in from Central PA so not fishing Sunday was never an option. Steelhead and Kings Saturday then BT’s and Toads on Sunday. Love what we do and the opportunity to do it. Thank you to my first mates Mike and Andrew as they split the duties of the four days.

What a weekend of fishing Lake Ontario. If it ever stops raining we hope to get back out there this week. Saturday was a special day for our PA group that quickly learned what Lady O had to offer. We filled the Yeti coffin with 4 different meat groups. Kings, Steelhead, Laker, and Browns. Thanks Brett and Dave for bring your boys out! Get kids fishing!

A great weekend of fishing on Lady O. Had some young bucks out on the Lake and found out quickly that this was not a walleye tournament. They all joined the LOC in hopes to catch the big one. Fish one was just over 19 #. Their twelfth came in over 20 # but not a top of board fish in the LOC. Cleaning fish from the Yeti coffin by 11:30AM.

So we just fished what I think was our 15th straight WHI Fishing Tournament. Our own anniversary perhaps but I think it all started in 2011 for the WHI. Hats off to the boys. Andrew, Harry, Mike #13 and Ron. We pre-fished hard Thursday and Friday for a couple hours each day in search of our best waters. Went back both tournament days in search of that kicker fish that were among the cookie cutters. We stayed competitive each day but never saw that kicker fish. We fished amongst the best that make a living everyday on Lady O. This Breakaway Fishing Charter team was one of the best out there in a record low number of teams entered. A lot of fun again as that had disappeared for years. Love these guys and a shout out to our new sponsors of and LuckyStrikeCigarettes. You will see me wearing chest pocket tees on the dock this year. Friend of the friendless but need to acknowledge that crew!
