As he blows out of the shoot
With the wild look in his eye
The bucking horse, Frontier
Can get a score high

Bronc riders are equal parts scared and glad
To have drawn Frontier
Cause if they make it those 8
They’ll hear the loudest cheers

Frontier’s a muscled up, toned paint
With a slick coat and solid bones
He’ll fool ya into thinking
He’s not much older than a foal

Ya see, rough stock
Can get a bad wrap
For being mistreated
And poorly kept

But he ain’t no worn down ranch pony
Not Old Frontier
He’s coasted through life
And now old enough to drink beer

He’s spent almost everyday
Of his last 25 years
Out here free grazing
In a big pasture, unbothered with the deer

He’s had a pretty good life
If you ask me
Spending days in the pasture
Roaming free

He goes to rodeos
Every now and then
And still bucks them bronc riders
Right on their heads

Still filling the dreams of bronc riders
With adrenaline and fear
While he has a life of leisure
The bucking horse we call Frontier
