Good morning! I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be starting up my private lessons again this June. Just like I did previously when I taught, everyone will have their alloted day and time for each week. Lessons will be taught at the Main Rec Pool in Wilson. 30 minute lessons are $45.00 if taught at the Rec Pool. If you would like for me to come teach at a private pool, the lessons will be $55.00 for 30 minute lessons. If you cannot make it to your lessons, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. No shows will be charged a $20.00 no show fee. Once the Rec pool has their schedule, I will be posting the times for each lesson availability. No weekends or holidays. Thank you

Hello everyone! I'm sorry it has been a VERY long time since I have posted and taught any swim lessons. Almost three years. I decided that I just needed to take the time after everything that happened. I have decided that I will start teaching again this summer and pretty much run it the way I had done it. However, prices will change and I after I do some research to figure out pricing, I will start booking students again. Thank you all who were so supportive to me during my difficult loss. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but due to being short staffed this Summer, I am not going to be able to continue teaching Private lessons during the Summer until we hire more staff at the Rec Pool. Until then, I strongly encourage you to sign up as soon as possible, starting on the 30th for our Group Swim Lessons. Because we are so short staffed, I have to be at the pool as much as possible lifeguarding and supervising swim lessons. If you do sign up for Group Swim lessons, I will be there but I will be supervising the other instructors so you will see me. I strongly encourage you to sign up the day of the 30th to secure your slot. $25.00 for City Residents and $37.00 for non city residents, which, broken down is $2.00 and $3.00 per lesson. I highly encourage this and please secure your slot as soon as possible because there are only a limited amount. All current student's parents, please message me so I can tell you which level your child is in when you sign your child up.

Registration for Group Swim lessons will open May 30th! Make sure you go to the Rec center's Website to sign your child up! Sign up does NOT go through me, it goes through the Rec. If lessons are conducted during the time that we usually have swim lessons, I highly encourage you to sign up for Group to keep going until we can get private lessons going again.

Hello everyone! Again, I wanted to thank everyone for their patience with me as my children and I navigate through this tough time of losing my Loving husband.
So, here is an update on what will be happening at the pool this Summer: there will be Regular Group Swim Lessons again in the mornings and Evenings. During swim lesson times, I am NOT allowed to give private lessons. I am not sure what times those are in the evenings yet but if you would like to sign your child up for Group lessons, please contact Wilson Parks and Recreation to sign your child up for lessons. I will still be there since I am a Head Swim Instructor, I will just be overseeing and sometimes teaching myself, depending on the amount of Instructors we have. Please keep in mind that Group lessons are not like private lessons so there will not be that one on one time like they have with me. If you would like to carry on lessons through Group Lessons and are not sure which level your child is at when you sign them up, please feel free to message me and I will let you know. For most of my students, I have been teaching the same curriculum as we teach at Group.

I just wanted to thank all of my students and their parents for being so kind and understanding as my children and I have suffered the incredible loss of my husband, their father last week. I am absolutely devastated by this. He was my best friend and supported me in everything that I did. I know that my husband would want me to carry on with what I enjoy doing, which is teaching. I haven't figured out when exactly I want to get back but the Bubble will be coming down May 7th-27th, so I will probably give myself from now until the bubble comes down to gather myself up and carry on, in my husband's honor and memory after the Bubble comes down. I hope everyone will be understanding about this. I know it has caused quite a set back for many. I just am worried that I may continue to break down and I do not want to do that in front of the children. It is all still so fresh

So now that the family knows, I just wanted to let you all know that swim lessons have been canceled until further notice because my loving husband of 18 years has passed away unexpectedly last night. I am sorry that I cannot even think of who I usually text to confirm lessons but my mind is not straight right now. I just miss my best friend.
