Sonja’s name will be forever etched on the honored legacy toboggan as the winner of the 2025 WMSP Patroller Games. A special thanks to all of the instructors, Patrollers, helpers, and managment of Wilmot Mountain for helping this next class of National Ski Patrol System Inc Alpine Patrollers hit this important training milestone.

Sixty-seven years ago, the Wilmot Mountain Ski Patrol was formed. Today, in 2024, we continue the proud legacy of innovation and excellence through the successful completion of another dedicated cohort in the Outdoor Emergency Transportation course by the National Ski Patrol System Inc. A massive thank you to the Wilmot Mountain mountain operations team for maintaining exceptional terrain and snow conditions, enabling our success. Special shoutout to our dedicated Alpine Patrollers, trainers, instructors, ski instructors, and examiners for guiding this class to triumph. Congratulations to these graduates as they embark on the next phase of their training journey toward becoming a fully credentialed Alpine Patroller! 🎓🏔

It is with deep sorrow and utmost respect that the WMSP announces the unexpected passing of Neal Barg, an Alpine Ski Patroller. Neal played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of skiers at Wilmot Mountain, and his infectious smile, joyful personality, and kind demeanor will be deeply missed. Neal's untimely passing is a profound loss, not only to his family and friends but also to the entire skiing community. We honor Neal's legacy as a proud member of the National Ski Patrol and hope that his memory serves as a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew him. Today, our hearts are heavy with the loss of our dear colleague and friend, Neal Barg.

We did have snow making windows, right now we have a beautiful snow pile that we will groom down overnight when the temps drop. As soon as weather permits, expansion will happen quickly.
