New member orientations: The Office will set up a time for your new member orientation when you join. You can also check the BGSL Calender at http://bgslinc.com/calendar/ to confirm orientation dates if any question, such as in the case of Holidays, but you should be signed up with the office before attending a new member orientation. The Spring Wing NSCA tournament starts tomorrow and runs through Sunday. The main course will be tournament shooters only all weekend.

The woods course will be open all weekend.

The ATA Shoot is Sunday April 19th. Practice starts at 10:00 and the program at 11:00.

Congrats to those members who were successfully drawn for the spring turkey hunt (raffle) this past Tuesday at the general membership meeting.

Spring Turkey hunts will coincide with the state seasons/dates. Please contact the wildlife comm. chair for orientation details.

You might have noticed County Fire/Rescue or Animal Control vehicles on site Saturday... a member was training his dogs when he abruptly lost the GPS signal. As he searched, the GPS collar again began functioning and he was able to locate the dog, (which had fallen about 40' into a vertical rock shaft) Amazingly, the dog is relatively unscathed from her unexpected adventure. Thanks to the great responders and all personnel who were involved in this unique weekend run!

Greener grass, songbirds, and warmer weather is finally here !! BGSL is again offering a lottery style draw to its membership to hunt during the 2026 spring turkey season.
Raffle tickets are $10/ea or $80/10 chances. There will be a limited number of hunters drawn. State wildlife regs are always enforce. Tickets may be purchased at the office (in person or over the phone) and the drawing will be held on April 7th at the next general membership meeting. For additional questions please contact the BGSL Wildlife Comm.

KY State ASA qualifier at BGSL this Saturday and Sunday. This event is open to anyone and you can shoot if you complete registration by 2pm the day of the shoot.

Heartbreak RnG for 2026 is winding down. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen and allowed it to happen in a fun & safe manner.

Please refer to the BGSL calendar for upcoming events, closures, range openings, etc.

A reminder that the annual Heartbreak RnG will begin tomorrow through Saturday at the BGSL. Please check the calendar as many of the ranges have been reserved for use and support of this competition. You will also likely see participants running/jogging along roadways and in the fields.
(Don't worry - all fi****ms have been verified clear by event RO's - safety remains a top priority)

After yesterday’s warm sunshine, 69°, and last night’s rain showers, the club roads are finally clear!
