I follow this Montessori coach and wanted to share this short clip about why children sometimes seem to do exactly what we tell them to NOT do! I’ll be making an effort to use positive commands instead of negative. For example, with young children we can say, “use an inside voice” instead of “don’t yell!” What are examples of negative commands we use with our kids? How can we reframe it in positive language?
