The weather was less than favorable last Thursday so we stayed inside the boathouse. We spent time with one of Julie's High School rowers, Camille. She is working on a project on Breast Cancer. She wanted to gather our stories and opinions on our experiences and the future of treatments.

We're grounded today due to poor air quality and heat index. It makes us think back to the fun days we've had together on the river so far.

We teamed up with Under the Bridge Rowing Club for the Survivor Row in the Diamond State Masters. Coach Julie in bow, Megan in 2 seat, Amy in 3 seat, and Suze in stroke.

We feel so fortunate to have all of the support we received from spectators and racers in wait. It was a great event hosted by Wilmington Rowing Center and their amazing volunteers.

Special thanks goes out to Ren for prerace sweets, Valerie for showing up to help carry, for support, and photos, Amy's husband Bryan for photos, and Kevin for being our coach when Julie isn't available and for helping us carry after the row.
