PARENTS, THIS IS FOR YOU… WATCH UNTIL THE END. 👀🏊♀️
One of the biggest mistakes parents make is removing their child from the water the moment they cry.
Crying doesn’t always mean a child is scared of swimming. Sometimes it means they’re experiencing something new, being challenged, or stepping outside their comfort zone.
In this video, you’ll see a 2-year-old arrive at her lesson crying and distressed. Instead of ending the lesson, we first acknowledge her emotions, build trust, and gently introduce her to the water. Once she’s regulated, we begin introducing age-appropriate swim skills and challenges.
Fast forward to the end… she’s smiling, participating, following instructions, and enjoying her swim lesson. 💙
Growth happens when children learn they can work through difficult feelings and still succeed.
As parents, our goal isn’t to eliminate every uncomfortable moment—it’s to help our children build confidence through them.
🏊♀️ Remember: Swimming is not just a sport, it’s a life-saving skill.
