Tomorrow is about more than softball.
As Dawg Pound takes the field, we do so in memory of Delaware State Police Trooper Ty Snook, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We are honored to play this game remembering his service, dedication, and the impact he left on so many lives.
We also take the field in memory of Lt. Gregg Shelton of the Elsmere Police Department, helping bring awareness to something that affects far too many—men’s mental health and su***de prevention. During Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind everyone that strength isn’t measured by what you carry alone. Check on your brothers, your teammates, your friends, and your family. A conversation can make all the difference.
Today we play for those we’ve lost, those still fighting battles we cannot see, and those who continue to serve our communities every day.
