This past weekend’s Armbar Academy was a huge success 👏

These seminars are designed for students who want to go beyond regular class training and continue leveling up their jiu jitsu, focus, and understanding of the art.

From the moment the seminar started, the room was filled with attention, effort, and enthusiasm. We’re incredibly proud of this group for showing up ready to learn, ask questions, and challenge themselves.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and brought such great energy to the mats. We can’t wait for the next one 💥

50 class assists earned. ☁️

This young leader recently earned his first C.L.O.U.D. Team patch — a milestone that represents 50 classes spent serving, helping, mentoring, and leading younger students on the mat.

Our C.L.O.U.D. Team is made up of students who have demonstrated the maturity, consistency, and character needed to begin developing as leaders within our academy. As they assist in Youth 1 classes, they earn a new patch for every 50 class assists completed.

Some of our students have already surpassed 100 and even 150 class assists, and after 200 assists, students may become eligible for our Lead Instructor path.

What makes this special isn’t just the patch itself — it’s the consistency, responsibility, and willingness to give back to the tribe that it represents.

Proud of all of our C.L.O.U.D. Team members and the example they continue to set for the next generation. 💙

Summer schedules change.
Your goals don’t have to disappear with them. ☀️🥋

The biggest mistake people make isn’t taking vacations, going to camp, or spending days at the pool.

It’s losing momentum because there was never a plan in the first place.

One missed class turns into a missed week.
A missed week turns into “I’ll get back after summer.”

The students who grow the most aren’t always the ones training the hardest — they’re the ones who stay intentional and consistent, even during busy seasons.

Train before the trip.
Plan your return.
Keep the habit alive.

Because summer should add to your life — not pull you away from the things making you stronger. 💪☀️

Summer schedules change. Your training mindset shouldn’t.

One of the biggest mistakes people make during the summer is not planning ahead. A missed class turns into a missed week… and before you know it, you’ve fallen completely out of your routine.

There’s nothing wrong with vacations, beach days, pool days, lake trips, or family time. Enjoy all of it. Just plan for it.

If you know you’ll be away for a week, make sure you get extra training in beforehand and make a plan to get right back on the mats when you return. Consistency doesn’t mean perfection — it means staying intentional, even during busy seasons.

Don’t let summer pull you away from the goals you’ve worked so hard for. Stay connected. Stay disciplined. Keep moving forward. 👊☀️

Another incredible day for Team Elevated at the Good Fight Duel at Delaware in Hockessin 🥋🔥

So proud of all 10 of our competitors for stepping onto the mats, representing our team with heart, courage, and composure, and putting their training to the test. Competition isn’t easy. It takes discipline, resilience, and the willingness to grow through both victories and challenges.

This crew brought home multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals, including a double gold performance 🥇🥇 But beyond the medals, what stood out most was the teamwork, sportsmanship, and support they showed one another throughout the day.

Proud coaches. Proud teammates. Proud community.

Onward and upward. 📈

This month’s Level Up Life theme in our youth program is PATIENCE.

As a wife of a martial artist, a mom of little martial artists, and a martial artist myself… there are endless directions I could go with this topic. But what’s been on my heart lately is patience as a parent.

The patience to sit in the lobby and not let my desire for a specific outcome pull me away from who I actually want to be as a parent.

Because if we’re honest… sometimes it’s hard not to shout directions, coach from the sidelines, or get emotionally wrapped up in every round. But this month is a good reminder that patience is a muscle we can all strengthen together.

There’s a reason we have “No Coaching From the Sidelines” posted in our lobby. ❤️
