The Waves of Wilmington Swim Team (WOW) is a year-round swim team program serving the Cape Fear region / tri-county area. WOW is a member of USA Swimming, Inc.

The Waves of Wilmington Swim Team (WOW) is a year-round swim team program serving the Cape Fear region / tri-county area (New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick). The program serves swimmers 6 years of age and older. (USA), North Carolina Swimming, Inc. (NCS), and the East Carolina Swim League (ECSL). The goal of the program is for each swimmer to reach his or her capability potential (regardless of competitive level). The program fosters each swimmer's development and maturity, producing excellent competitive swimmers. Through the commitment and dedication learned through WOW, the program strives to help the swimmer develop a positive self-image beyond swimming and understand the benefits of commitment, dedication, self-discipline, time management, and goal setting inside and outside of the pool.

The four teams participated in four different events led by their peer leaders!
