Today was one of the hardest and most painful days…I had to make the choice to let Lucky go and give him forever comfort! The pain you feel for losing a pet is so much more than you could imagine or planned for! The world is a little messed up that a creature so loving unconditionally has to go so soon!

I am thankful I got 15 years with my best friend! From Winston to Atlanta back to Winston to Wilmington back to Winston and finally Wilmington we had a lot of places we called home but the true home was where we were together! Rest In Peace Lucky! Now enjoy all the running, napping, and snacking! Thankful I got the last two years at home with you and grateful the last two days for every moment! The house is going to be very quiet now but we will see each other again! 💙🐾🥺💔

Please keep Lucky in your thoughts. Just left the vet and he is there being watched on fluids because he was struggling this morning and his temp was high but while at the vet his temp has started to come down and he is stable right now. Just under observation. Fingers crossed at 4:30 I get good news because I am not ready to lose my best friend!

SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR MY DAD!!!

Officially starting retirement at noon!!

It is wild to think back:
• when we were kids and you worked at UPS while going to school
• then the corporate world of Engineering
• bring your daughters to work
• watching Dad color, cut, & paste 😂
• traveling the world for months at a time
• us being able to walk you all the way to the gate to see you off on your flight
• all the souvenirs
• company Events - Panthers tailgates to box seats to All Star races
• the traveling stories (especially India)
• to the last days of working from home thanks to Covid

All the time spent over the years providing for us so that we could have awesome vacations and memories! Thanks Dad for all your work! Time to enjoy all that free time together with and let the adventures continue!!! 💙

Thanks to a gifted tree I have one to put up and lights work.

Funny enough is that through the years I have bought or been given personalized ornaments so will be fun digging those out tomorrow. Until then tested out with my two newest ornaments from one of my favorite small shops .reesespieces 👈🏻 check them out!
