UNCW’s 2026 season came to a close with a 6-1 setback to top-seeded Hofstra on Friday in the CAA Tournament.

The No. 2 seed UNCW softball team concluded its season with a 6-1 setback to No. 1 seed Hofstra in Friday's first elimination game of the Coastal Athletic Association Championships at Elon's Hunt Softball Park.
