To say we had a crazy Saturday is an understatement!

We started with a flat trailer tire at 7:30am. Then a fixed tire. Then another trailer tire trying to fall off at 8:15am! So we ended up at the Sheetz with 4 horses and only 1 working trailer 😬 thanks to some amazing student parents, Ava Botterio and Anna Beatty, barn super mom Emelie P. Myers and my mom, we managed to get Marlee back to our barn safely and Lenny, Adeen and Sky to Lake Waccamaw for our show!

Big thank you to Southeastern NC Game Show Circuit for giving us the extra 15 minutes to get our crew ready to ride!

Then we had a medical emergency at the show for one of our barn families but everyone is ok now!

Big thanks to every single person who helped make yesterday happen and for our barn families all hanging in and supporting each other.

To say we were exhausted is an understatement. But all the girls held strong and did their best at the show despite the crazy day!

Multiple PR's yesterday and multiple Champion Ribbons!

A very special recognition for all of the riders that have chosen to work with Lenny the Fish Slayer rather than be concerned about being the fastest. It takes special horse people to put aside the competition and focus on the training. I am extra proud of all of those young riders who see the potential and fun in training little Lenny the Fish Slayer. They had a very successful day yesterday and they all worked as a team to help him be his best self! Bailey, Cora, Haley, Lockleigh, Elizabeth and Amelia, you guys rock!

*not all riders are pictured! Our older kiddos were totally worn out by the end of day and forgot pics πŸ˜‚*

Introducing our new Public Relations Team! Lenny and Eclipse make the perfect pair for public events. Eclipse is calm and accepting while Lenny is goofy and loving. They did amazing with their jobs this week.

Eclipse went to support Evelyne at her softball game. Then Lenny and Eclipse went to a local assisted living facility for Kentucky Derby Day!

Big congratulations to all of our riders this weekend! They had a fantastic show!

Everyone learned and grew as horse people! And we brought home some ribbons!

A special congratulations to Emerson, Ally and Peyton for winning the high point (champion) of their division!

Missing some riders in these photos but everyone who attended did a fantastic job!

Big thank you to all the parents who help keep the shows running smoothly! Especially Emelie P. Myers who always goes above and beyond!

So proud of all of the students who participated in the barrel show this past Saturday!

Maddie and Peyton both set their own PR's!!
Tinley and Emerson brought home the Champion ribbons for their divisions!
Landon trotted!
Adaline went faster than she has ever gone! (Almost bounced straight off her pony and still wanted more speed πŸ˜‚)
Damien got his very first ribbon!
Avery ran wonderful patterns!
June, Cora and Alani handled the stubborn Lenny and brought home some ribbons!
Tarynn placed 2nd in youth and cantered all of her patterns!
Lenny completed his very first show and cantered too!
Adeen hit her own PR on pole bending and most importantly, she took care of a rider who is new to showing!

The team spirit that I saw this weekend was the absolute best. We are looking forward to our show this upcoming Saturday at Lake Waccamaw!

As many of you have already seen... the rumors are true... Adeen is now a criminal. Charges are pending but do include; Kidnapping in the first degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Pony, J-walking, Trespassing, Destruction of Private Property, Evading Law Enforcement, Inflicting Unnecessary Emotional Distress on the Public and Endangering the Welfare of the out of shape humans who ran through the woods in pursuit.

Adeen decided today was the day. Her humans were busy and she saw her opportunity. After very little consideration, she jumped the fence (breaking the top board), and proceeded to kidnap the miniature pony from the neighbor's paddock.

After successfully freeing her pony from his confines, they proceeded to gallavant through the many backyards, woods and streets of the Myrtle Grove area. Then they caused undue stress and terror to the surrounding public on Carolina Beach Rd. Which resulted in their photos being released to the public platform.

We became alerted of the situation after receiving a phone call from a concerned neighbor. We began driving at questionable speeds, running through the woods, calling multiple people and eventually located said criminal along with her hostage.

Both the kidnapped Echo and criminal Adeen are back in their paddocks. Hopefully, they will have learned from their mistakes and will not repeat said offenses.

One year ago, we didn't know how different the first beach run of 2026 would look.

We didn't know that her body would fail her in 10 months and shake the foundation of our little barn so fast.

A year ago, we didn't know we were being given the gift of a few more moments. A few more memories. A few more shows. A few more beach days. A few more lessons. A few more. A few more days of that peaceful presence she gave so freely to everyone. A few more times that she would give her all for us.

It's only been 3 weeks and how different 2026 already looks without our steady Snow on the beach.

Always honoring the love she gave and looking forward to the opportunities that we all have thanks to her.
