Fyi to students/parents: the water at the studio is shut off for awhile as we install our new bathroom and run new underground drainage pipes.

This means no usable restrooms or sinks for the time being unfortunately. We do have a port-a-potty next to the employee entrance. And we take the after-school students to empie park across the street to use the public restrooms when needed. We also have a water cooler up and running for drinks and hand sanitizer at the studio. Hopefully the water will be turned back on soon. But until then, please plan accordingly.

Once this bathroom is finished, we should be ready to announce our grand opening date! I promise it will all be worth it as this building and what we are doing to it is looking absolutely amazing!

All I need now is a megaphone to shout instructions and the occasional, "Timmy! Stop being a little stinker and knocking...

The new studio is still a work in progress but classes are still on as usual. The grand opening is expected to be in early to mid September as we should have the flooring done soon, then a lot of organizing and cleaning up!

Just a reminder that, starting today (June 29th), all classes will be held at the new location at 3509-B Wrightsville Ave. We are the building in back. Enter through the single door (not the double door on the side). Class schedule as not changed. Note that the building is not finished yet, but functional. Eager to start this new era of Bourelle Martial Arts!

We will be moving everything over to the new studio starting saturday morning at 9:30am. If you want to help with moving, come on over to the current studio (800 shipyard blvd, suite 4). We'll be loading up the vans with as much stuff as possible and moving it to the new studio at 3509-B Wrightsville Ave. If anyone has a truck or trailer, we could use it to make the move faster.

Starting July 1st, 2026, Bourelle Martial Arts will be operating out of a new location! The new location is only about 5 minutes away from current Shipyard location. The new address will be 3509-B Wrightsville Ave, Wilmington, NC.

Not only are we moving, but we have some exciting new things coming. We will be introducing some dance classes, acrobatics classes, and will even have stage performances on the weekend, plus much more!

We are entering the upfitting phase soon. We are expecting to have our grand opening in early September. Stay tuned for more information, updated class schedule, pictures and more.

We are currently still holding classes at our old location (800 shipyard blvd, suite 4) until June 30th. If any current students want to help with the move, reach out to me and ill keep you in the loop.
