It’s not an easy day to remember, but it’s an important opportunity to honor the bravery of so many individuals 25 years ago.

Join us on Friday, September 11 to complete the 110 floor stair master challenge: roughly 2,200 steps to reach the height of the World Trade Center to honor those first responders who gave their lives to save others. The fastest times of completion will also be awarded a free Axis t-shirt. But overall completion is the most important goal.

SIX WEEKS. LET’S SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET CONSISTENT.

There’s a sweet spot every Fall season where life settles down just enough to actually focus on yourself. We’re taking full advantage of it before the holiday chaos hits in a few short months.

Starting now, we’re bringing together a group of people (current members and new!) ready to lock in for six weeks of real accountability. The target is simple: pick one main goal, show up for three workouts a week, and stick to simple, sustainable nutrition alongside a group of your peers ready to support you every step of the way.

There’s a “gym culture” out there that will recommend extreme diets and burning out trying to be perfect, but that’s not how we see fitness and health here at Axis. The strategy here is resetting at the beginning of each week, and stacking up consistent progress that actually lasts.

20-something year olds, we are looking at you 👀

Coach Jacob from our Hampstead location brings up an important point that is often ignored in our industry, especially when it comes to Surf City, Hampstead, and the surrounding areas.

Sure, overall fitness efforts make an impact for aesthetic reasons - people want to look the way they like to look. But in practice, having the strength and mobility to go about your daily life as you age is the most important thing. And it starts now.

We know that life gets busy. Kids, work, travel, all of it. But at the end of the day, prioritizing your health now is what is going to give you the physical ability to be there for your kids, work, and travel as you age over time. We aren’t expecting perfection, but we do expect effort and commitment. Not to us, but to yourself.

The best time to have joined us at Axis was years ago. But the second best time is now.

Get outside. Push hard. Compete. Suffer a little. Laugh a lot. Drink a b**r for a time deduction. 😂 And see what you’ve got alongside some damn good humans.

We came away 2nd and 4th in the Charity Division—but the real win was another day doing something hard together.

Huge respect to everyone who raced, volunteered and made Copperhead such a badass event.

Build the capacity. Then go use it.
